QPR assistant manager Kevin Bond fears Junior Hoilett’s hamstring problem may keep him out for some time.
Hoilett limped off on 54 minutes in QPR’s 1-0 win over Ipswich after pulling up after chasing a ball down the left flank.
“He’s got a hamstring,” Bond said.
“He was in full flight and he pulled up. I wouldn’t expect him to see him training on Monday morning.
“I can him being out for a little while. It will be days or weeks, but hopefully not too long.”
Rangers struggled for long periods to break down Ipswich at Loftus Road and had to rely on substitute Tom Hitchcock’s 89th-minute winner for victory.
Bond admitted that his side are lacking the desired creative spark in the final third and will be looking to strengthen that area before the transfer window shuts.
“If I’m being totally honest, we’re short in the creativity department,” Bond added.
“It’s those areas around the front that Harry will be looking at. You need goals in your side. You need that creativity.
“Harry [Redknapp] has liked that in every side he’s had and that’s an area where we could improve.
“I don’t think we’re quite finished yet. I will be surprised if we don’t do a bit of business between now and the end of the window.”
