Olamide Shodipo and Axel Prohouly look increasingly likely to leave QPR on loan, with a number of clubs showing some interest ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
Rangers are also willing to loan out Osman Kakay – Swindon are among the clubs to have shown an interest in the right-back – and left-back Niko Hamalainen, while Oxford United want Nasser El Khayati on loan.
Prohouly, 19, has not made a first-team appearance since the French forward was signed after leaving Monaco in the summer of 2015.
And Rangers are keen for winger Shodipo, also 19, to pick up more first-team experience.
With Darnell Furlong and Michael Doughty having this month returned to QPR after an impressive loan spell at Swindon, Ian Holloway recently said he felt Shodipo would similarly benefit from a stint away from Loftus Road.
“Every time I’ve put him on unfortunately the team has let a goal in,” said the R’s boss.
“It’s not necessarily his fault, but he’s got to work on that other side of it.
“He’s brilliant at going forward – absolutely fantastic – but he could probably do with a loan spell.
“He is someone I would loan out. I think he would benefit from a little spell like Furlong and Doughty have had.
“It’s about having more than just running at someone and beating them. He’s got other elements of his game he’s got to learn – and I know he will.
“It’s a big step from Under-23 to first team. When you’re as talented as he is with the ball, and that’s all you’ve been encouraged to do in the youth team and that’s why you’ve stood out, sometimes the team things that you need to do, which might not be your forte, you’ve got to pick them up really quickly.
“But I love him around the group and I’d love to play him a bit more. He’s like a puppy with a treat. He can’t wait for a treat. I blow the whistle and he’s there. It’s brilliant.
“He’s definitely one that will play for us and will get the fans completely and utterly loving him.”
Kakay ended last season on loan at Scottish side Livingston and has since made three appearances for QPR.
He is below Furlong, who has displaced James Perch, in the pecking order, while skipper Nedum Onuoha is another option for Holloway at right-back.
“Oz needs to go and play and I would definitely consider that,” Holloway said.
“I can move Perchy or Nedum there. So yes, I feel he needs a challenge with Darnell coming back.
“I think Darnell’s a little bit ahead of him at the moment and they’re a similar sort of age.
“I think he’s a fantastic young man who shows a really good attitude.
“I really like him and if I can get him out on loan then I will.”
