QPR assistant manager Kevin Bond said he was unsure whether Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar might miss Saturday’s game against Blackpool after both players went off injured in the win over Wigan.
Kranjcar was replaced at half-time after aggravating an ongoing hamstring problem and Barton limped off with six minutes of the match remaining.
Bond explained: “Joey was going to come off a couple of minutes earlier as he was struggling. I’m not sure what the issue is there and we all hope it’s something not too serious.
“Niko had a tweak. I don’t know whether he’ll miss a game but I think if we had left him on he might have ended up missing three games.
“What we want at this stage is to make sure that we keep everyone fit going into the end of the season.”
