Injured QPR defender to miss Swansea game

Jake Bidwell will again be sidelined for QPR when they face Swansea at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Bidwell suffered a calf injury during the recent 4-0 thrashing at Norwich and missed the midweek draw at Millwall.

Ryan Manning was deployed at left-back and had an excellent game at The Den, where a point took Rangers a step closer to Championship safety.

Manning was included after caretaker boss John Eustace opted to leave out Angel Rangel, who was rested having recently returned after a long spell out injured.

Rangel is expected to return to the squad for this weekend’s game.
