Transfer gossip: Iceland midfielder ‘to have QPR medical’

QPR are set to sign Iceland international midfielder Stefán Teitur Þórðarson, it is claimed.

Reports say Rangers have had an offer for the 25-year-old accepted by Danish club Silkeborg.

He is said to be heading to London to complete a medical and a move to Loftus Road.

He is known to Marti Cifuentes, who has worked in Denmark, and it is claimed that the Rangers boss has made a move to sign him.
