Hundreds attend QPR legend’s funeral
The funeral of popular former QPR and Northern Ireland stalwart Alan McDonald has taken place in County Down.
Around 500 mourners attended a service at the Ballygowan Presbyterian Church just outside Belfast.
McDonald, who was 48, died suddenly after collapsing while playing golf on Saturday morning.
He spent 17 years as a player at Loftus Road, where he also had a spell as assistant manager.
