Hughes gets early chance to assess players

New QPR boss Mark Hughes had a chance to see his players in action when Tottenham visited Harlington this afternoon.

A reserve-team friendly, which ended in a 2-2 draw, gave Hughes and his backroom team an opportunity to look at members of their squad.

Hughes, who was confirmed as Rangers manager yesterday, was then driven to Loftus Road for his first press conference since replacing the sacked Neil Warnock.
