Mark Hughes insists QPR’s owners would be making a huge mistake if they sack him.
The under-fire Rangers manager says he will not resign in the wake of Saturday’s humiliation at home to fellow strugglers Southampton.
And he remains adamant that he should not be fired despite a disastrous run that has left his team without a league win this season.
“Making wholesale changes once again would be the wrong decision in my view. You would expect me to say that, but I honestly believe it,” he said.
“We just need to get through this, come out the other side and look back on it and feel we needed to go through that period to grow stronger.
“It’s difficult for everybody at the moment but we’re not going to run away from it.”

We're not talking about wholesale changes, Mark. Just getting rid of you and your cronies who have manifestly failed miserably to create a team from a collection of quality individuals. And it needs to happen this week.
