Hughes frets over injury to defender
QPR are assessing a hamstring injury suffered by defender Luke Young during their home defeat against Wolves.
Young hobbled off early in the second half of the game at Loftus Road and could be set for a spell on the sidelines.
New signing Bobby Zamora, who scored Rangers’ goal in the 2-1 loss, was also taken off but his condition is not causing concern.
“Bobby was cramping up. He should be okay,” revealed manager Mark Hughes.
“He didn’t want to damage himself any further and was correct to say ‘I want to come off’.
“Luke Young – that’s slightly different. Hopefully it’s not too serious but it does look like he’ll now be missing.”
