Manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink admitted QPR are in “a difficult period” after they were beaten by Huddersfield. Here’s how we rated each of his players in their 2-1 defeat.
Produced a couple of decent saves against his former club. Not at fault for either Huddersfield goal but overall doesn’t look quite as convincing as he has previously.
Beaten in the air for the second goal and generally never looked comfortable at right-back.
Repeatedly slow to react to danger. Simply not good enough for a defender with his experience and pedigree.
Was caused problems all afternoon but didn’t go missing and at least tried to use the ball positively when he could.
Given a tough time on the flank, where he was offered very little protection as Tommy Smith was able to get forward from right-back at will.
The ease with which the 19-year-old Kasey Palmer ran the midfield was embarrassing at times. Henry completely failed to assert himself before being replaced at half-time.
Neat and tidy on the ball but overrun as Huddersfield consistently managed to get in and attack Rangers’ back four.
Totally ineffective on the right-hand side. Offered very little defensively or going forward and was fortunate not to concede a penalty when he appeared to handle the ball inside the box.
Set up Rangers’ goal but otherwise struggled to make an impact.
Had a decent spell early on but otherwise failed to trouble the opposing defence – or help his own as his inability to track back effectively became more and more obvious.
Hauled off at half-time after failing to make any impact at all up front.
Didn’t exactly have home defence quaking in their boots after coming on, but he at least gave QPR more of a presence up front.
Replaced Henry at the break and was certainly an improvement.
Scored with a header after coming on – his first goal for the club and a rare positive on a dismal day for Rangers.

I don't think JFH is right in saying the players are in a bad place at the moment I think that his problem is himself not knowing how to play top and bottom teams in the league Last 4 games we played 2 at the bottom and two at he top 12 points got 1 !!
Formations have varied 7-2-1 6-3-1 5-3-2 5-3-2 The first 2 formations lost lost (8-1)
The second 2 lost draw
You are the problem JFH not he players
Karl Henry back to his best hahaha
JFH get rid of him he's a waste of a place
