Ian Holloway fully expects Conor Washington to be fit for QPR’s trip to Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
The Rangers striker picked up a heavy knock after coming on as a substitute during the Carabao Cup win against Northampton.
Washington, who scored twice against Reading on Saturday, seemed to be struggling badly at the end of Tuesday’s game.
But boss Holloway is more than confident the player will be available for the match at Hillsborough.
Holloway said: “He’s alright. He’s on a goalscoring run and he wants to keep playing, so he’ll be fine – I guarantee you he’ll be fine.”
