QPR have confirmed the appointment of Glyn Hodges as the club’s head of coaching.
West London Sport revealed last month that the former Wales midfielder had been handed a newly created role at Loftus Road.
He will oversee coaching at all levels of the club, particularly Rangers’ revamped youth and development structure, and will mainly work alongside Steve Gallen and Marc Bircham.
Gallen will continue in his role as youth development manager, while Bircham has been asked to take charge of a new Under-21 side.
Hodges, 49, is a former international team-mate of R’s boss Mark Hughes and worked under him at Blackburn, Manchester City and Fulham.
