QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink praised his players after their 1-0 defeat at Burnley.
The Clarets, whose win clinched their promotion back to the Premier League, were caused problems by Rangers but Sam Vokes’ second-half goal was enough to give them the points they needed.
“In the first half we played well and had good opportunities,” Hasselbaink said.
“In that sense, we are a little bit disappointed (not to have scored). But I’m very proud of the boys – they did well in a very difficult game.
“We know Burnley is a very difficult team to play against and you know you are going to be put under pressure, We coped well with that pressure.
“We can take a lot of positives because we controlled the game and caused them a problem.”
Rangers end their season with a home game against Bristol City on Saturday.
