Furious Holloway to ‘hammer’ Scowen after QPR defeat
Ian Holloway said he would “hammer” Josh Scowen for the incident which led to Nedum Onuoha being sent off in QPR’s 4-0 defeat at Hull.
Onuoha was red-carded for charging into Markus Henriksen in injury time after the Hull midfielder had clashed with Rangers’ Scowen.
Holloway insisted it was Scowen who deserved to be dismissed for his challenge on Jackson Irvine.
“Scowen should have been sent off,” the Rangers manager said. “It’s an absolutely scandalous tackle, in my opinion. I’m going to hammer him.
“He got angry because they were playing around us. That’s why you have to take your medicine son. Don’t kick out at someone like that.
“Nedum came across to protect him. But my man (Scowen) should have got sent off – then that would have taught him the right lesson.”
Holloway also criticised Hull fans for barracking Onuoha and admitted he made a mistake by not starting with Idrissa Sylla up front.

Same nonsense from Holloway. Poor team selection, he just can’t stick with a winning 11.
