QPR defender Richard Dunne returned to action on Tuesday afternoon after two months out with a knee injury.
Dunne played 81 minutes for Rangers’ development side in a 3-3 draw with Millwall at the Championship club’s training ground.
The 35-year-old centre-back had been out of action since suffering medial ligament damage in the home defeat against Southampton on 7 February.
After Millwall went ahead following an error by keeper Joe Lumley, the visitors equalised when Jake Mulraney fired home after being set up by Ryan Manning, who put QPR ahead with a spectacular overhead kick just before half-time.
Jack Powell levelled for the Lions and Brandon Comley’s tidy finish with two minutes remaining looked like being the winner, but Millwall equalised again through Jamie Philpot’s injury-time goal.
Rangers hope Dunne will be return to first-team action for the derby at West Ham later this month along with Leroy Fer, who has been sidelined with a similar injury.
