Former Watford defender Rowan joins QPR on trial
QPR are giving a trial to former Watford defender Charlie Rowan.
The 20-year-old left the Hornets during the summer and has since been with Italian club Torino.
He is yet to make his senior debut, having not made a first-team appearance for Watford or during a spell on loan at Accrington last season.
The R’s are continuing to give a trial to forward Lewis Walker.
The 20-year-old son of former England defender Des Walker is looking for a club after being released by Derby County.
Both Rowan and Walker played for QPR’s development side in a match against Ipswich on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Darnell Furlong has returned to action in a behind-closed-doors friendly against West Ham.
