QPR keen on Millwall defender McNamara

QPR want to sign Millwall right-back Danny McNamara.

The Republic of Ireland international has entered the final year of his contract at The Den.

Rangers are monitoring developments and are ready to make an offer for him if McNamara, 23, rejects a new deal.


South Londoner McNamara is a Millwall fan, a product of the club’s academy and has impressed since breaking into the first team.

QPR want to sign a right-back this summer and he is among a number of potential signings to have been identified.

He has made 55 first-team appearances for the Lions, with 38 of them coming last season.
