Mauro Zarate netted his first goal as a QPR player in a behind-closed-doors friendly win over Millwall on Thursday.
The Argentine, on loan from West Ham United, scored the second as a strong Rangers side ran out 4-3 winners at Loftus Road.
Matt Phillips, Niko Kranjcar and Armand Traore were also on target, with the Frenchman grabbing the winner eight minutes from time. All four goals were set up by Junior Hoilett.
With the first team not in action this weekend, Rangers gave a number of players an opportunity to impress.
Alex McCarthy played in goal, Rio Ferdinand got 45 minutes under his belt, Jordon Mutch started in central midfield and Zarate was partnered up front by Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Millwall, who are also without a game after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Bradford, led 3-2 at one stage after goals by Aidan O’Brien, Richard Chaplow and Ed Upson, before Kranjcar and Traore turned it around.
