Watford interested in QPR’s Phillips
QPR are discussing a potential deal to sell Matt Phillips to Watford.
West Brom, who had a bid for the winger rejected during the summer transfer window, have indicated that they are still interested, while Bournemouth are monitoring developments.
Watford have now also shown an interest but favour a player exchange, whereas QPR want a straight cash deal.
Phillips, 24, was signed from Blackpool in 2013 and attracted interest from a number of clubs with some excellent displays during the second half of last season.
Rangers demanded £10m for him in the summer but his form this season has been less impressive.
QPR are open to offers for a number of players and are especially keen to offload Sandro and goalkeeper Rob Green.
