Leroy Fer has joined Swansea City on loan from QPR for the rest of the season.
The Dutch midfielder, 26, was one of several players Rangers were keen to offload before Monday’s transfer deadline.
He agreed a loan move to Sunderland in the summer but the deal was called off after he underwent medical, and subsequent talks with PSV Eindhoven ended without an agreement between the two clubs.
This time, however, Fer secured a move from Loftus Road after Swansea – who also discussed a possible deal for Sandro prior to the R’s midfielder joining West Brom – opted to sign him.
The deal is subject to international clearance.
