QPR’s Doughty joins Gillingham on loan

Gillingham have signed midfielder Michael Doughty on a month’s loan from QPR.

Doughty, 21, has made one senior appearance for Rangers, in the League Cup, and has had previous loan spells at Stevenage, St Johnstone, Aldershot and Crawley.

He is expected to make his Gills debut against Crawley, who are managed by former R’s player and manager John Gregory, on Saturday.

Meanwhile, young goalkeeper Aaron Lennox has returned to QPR after suffering a broken finger while on loan at non-League Concord Rangers.
