Rangers trio feature in Under-21 match

Matty Phillips, Jordon Mutch and Junior Hoilett featured for QPR’s development side in a match against Bristol City on Monday afternoon.

Rangers won 3-1 at their Harlington training ground, where Mutch, who is working his way back to full fitness after injury, missed a sitter early on.

The midfielder fired over from six yards out after being teed up by Phillips, who was involved in Rangers’ first two goals.

City went ahead and Bruno Andrade hit the post after being found by Phillips before eventually equalising on the half-hour mark.

Phillips sent in a low cross for Andrade the score from close range.

Andrade netted again midway through the second half, curling home following Phillips’ corner and Josh Laurent scored with a deflected shot late on.
