QPR are set to confirm the appointment of Gary Karsa as head of academy recruitment.
West London Sport revealed earlier this week that Rangers were poised to bring in Karsa, who lost his job as head of football operations at Aston Villa in May last year following a club investigation into allegations of bullying.
He worked at Leyton Orient and Barnet before joining Paul Lambert’s coaching team at Wycombe in 2006 along with ex-Norwich defender Ian Culverhouse.
The pair subsequently moved with Lambert to Colchester, Norwich and then Villa, who also dismissed Culverhouse following their investigation.
Karsa’s is one of a number of behind-the-scenes appointments QPR plan to make in the next few weeks.
