Harry Redknapp says QPR have no interest in signing Argentine defender Pablo Alvarez.
Rangers recently agreed to allow Alvarez train with them following an approach from his agent, who later suggested that talks were taking place over a move for the 30-year-old.
Alvarez, primarily a full-back but who can also play in midfield, is a free agent having been released by Italian side Calcio Catania in the summer.
“He’s gone back now,” Rangers boss Redknapp confirmed.
“He was a good player, I liked him. He paid his own expenses and I said to the people who brought him over that we’d let him come and train.
“He was alright, has a good attitude and would do a job for somebody, but I don’t need him.”
