QPR target Hayden signs for Newcastle

QPR have missed out on the signing of Issac Hayden, who has joined Newcastle from Arsenal.

Rangers were one of a number of clubs keen to land the versatile 21-year-old this summer.

Hayden, who impressed while on loan at Hull City last season, has signed a five-year contract at St James’ Park.

“I needed to move on and so when Newcastle came in for me I jumped at the chance,” he told the Magpies’ website.
