Rangers midfielder Henry backs Isla
QPR midfielder Karl Henry has backed Mauricio Isla after the Chilean’s tough introduction to English football.
Isla, signed on a season-long loan from Juventus after impressing at the World Cup, was given a torrid time on his debut at Tottenham.
He also struggled in last weekend’s 2-2 draw against Stoke at Loftus Road, where he was at fault for both the visitors’ goals, giving the ball away in the build-up to their second.
But Henry said: “He was in a bit of a tight spot to be honest.
“He’s done well since he’s come here and it’s always tough coming into a different country and a different culture. It always takes those players a bit of time to adjust.
“I think he’s come in, been on the front foot straightaway and has acquitted himself well.
“We all make mistakes from time to time. We learn from it and get on with it.”

Well Harry,
How to beat Southampton or get a point???
Sit back like at MU, get beat.
Can you do to Southampton what Leicester did to MU, do you have the player, you said not.
Why not try and do a Glen Johnson, get those running wing backs attacking.
You know best, you have proved that, play for a point or a lucky win but, don’t play Fat Boy in the middle – loan him out, get someone else, take 3m you only paid 1m.
