Rangers look at former PSG striker Diané
QPR have agreed for former Paris St-Germain forward Amara Diané to train with the club.
The 31-year-old, an Ivory Coast international, is a free agent after six years playing in the Middle East, most recently for United Arab Emirates club Al Dhafra.
Prior to joining PSG in 2006, he had spells at Strasbourg and Reims.
He would like to move to England and a number of Championship clubs have been made aware of his availability.
Diané played for QPR’s development side in a game against Bristol City at Rangers’ Harlington training ground on Tuesday afternoon.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw and Guilherme Dellatorre scored with a penalty – his first goal since his January move to the R’s – before the Brazilian striker then missed a penalty after another was awarded two minutes later.
