Perch has medical ahead of QPR move
James Perch has undergone a medical at QPR and his transfer from Wigan is expected to be confirmed in the next 24 hours.
West London Sport revealed yesterday that Rangers and Wigan had agreed a fee for the versatile 29-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield.
Perch has made 95 appearances for the Latics since being signed from Newcastle in 2013.
He was previously at Nottingham Forest, making more than 200 appearances for the East Midlands club.

I think QPR are in a shambolic state at the moment.
Sir Les and Ramsey have little experience at this level.
The new and proposed signings are not very inspirational .
I was born into the QPR fraternity with father and grandfather I am very worried that the owners are abandoning us and sucking the life out of the club to recupe their losses.
Let hope by some miracle the players assembled from the lower leagues have the spirit and inate ability to aspire.
My view is next season has the potential to be a complete fiasco.
Keep the faith.
Let hope these young lads prove me wrong GVS.
