QPR youngster Ebere Eze set up a goal on his international debut.
Eze played 82 minutes for England Under-20s as they beat Italy 2-1 at AFC Fylde’s Mill Farm stadium. Chelsea’s Reece James also featured.
Playing as a winger, Eze laid on the opening goal for Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah.
Joe Willock, also of Arsenal, scored from the penalty spot before the Italians pulled a goal back.
The Under-20s are in action again on Sunday, against the Czech Republic.
