Head coach Chris Ramsey has made his second signing for QPR in 24 hours with the capture of Grant Hall from Tottenham.
Hall, 23, had been on trial at Loftus Road and has now signed a two-year deal after Rangers agreed an undisclosed fee with Spurs.
He was signed in time to feature in the squad for QPR’s Championship opener against Charlton on Saturday.
Ramsey, who worked with Hall at Spurs, said: “He’s an old fashioned defender – he can head the ball, he can tackle and he doesn’t mind putting his foot in when he needs to.
“But he can play as well from the back, and that’s what we’ll be looking to do when the opportunities present themselves this season.”
