QPR boss Mark Warburton says Lee Wallace is close to recovering from a hip injury.
Summer signing Wallace, who previously played under Warburton at Glasgow Rangers, has missed much of his new team’s pre-season campaign.
But Warburton is confident the 31-year-old left-back will soon be available.
“He had a hip problem that was aggravated in the second week of pre-season,” Warburton told West London Sport.
“It’s been frustrating for him, but he’s a class act and he’s had treatment and I think is very close to coming back now.”
Meanwhile, Warburton wants to sign Scott McKenna from Aberdeen, who have rejected an offer for the Scotland defender.
