Sebastian Polter scored for QPR’s Under-21 side in a match against Watford on Monday evening.
Yun Suk-Young and keeper Alex Smithies also played at Vicarage Road, where Aaron Mitchell and Axel Prohouly scored the visitors’ other goals in a 3-3 draw.
Rangers led 2-0 at half-time after Polter knocked the ball down for Mitchell to score the opening goal before the German made it 2-0 with a close-range finish.
Victor Ibarbo’s deflected shot made it 2-1 shortly after the hour mark and French forward Prohouly, on as a substitute, restored QPR’s two-goal advantage by scoring from near the edge of the penalty area.
But Alex Jakubiak netted from the penalty spot after Cole Kpekawa had fouled Obbi Oulare, and Alex Jakubiak then equalised by tucking away the loose ball after Ibarbo’s effort had come back off the post.
Yun, who has been involved in a number of recent Under-21 matches, missed pre-season and the early part of the campaign with a knee problem but has been fit for several weeks.
The South Korean has not been involved with the first-team squad, with head coach Chris Ramsey recently insisting that Paul Konchesky’s performances mean the veteran deserves to keep his place at left-back.
Polter, meanwhile, has failed to impress since being signed during the summer and has not started a league match for the R’s.
Striker Polter has been fined week’s wages for a message he posted on Twitter after being left out of the squad for the recent match against Sheffield Wednesday.
