Chris Ramsey insists QPR have not received an enquiry from Chelsea about Rob Green.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper has produced some excellent performances this season and has been tipped to leave Loftus Road following Rangers’ relegation from the Premier League.
Reports have suggested Chelsea are looking to sign Green for £2m as a deputy for first-choice keeper Thibaut Courtois, with Petr Cech expected to leave the Blues this summer.
But Rangers head coach Ramsey says his club are yet to receive an approach from their west London neighbours.
Ramsey said: “Obviously there’s been rumours, but I think there’s been rumours about quite a few teams that would want Rob because he’s been in world-class form and I don’t use that term lightly.
“Had he not been, I think we may have been adrift even before I came into this job.”
Green has made 96 league appearances since being signed from West Ham in 2012. He has a year remaining on his QPR contract.
