Milton Keynes Dons want to sign Massimo Luongo on loan from QPR.
The midfielder, who moved to Loftus Road from Swindon with Ben Gladwin in the summer, has not started a league match since October.
Luongo, 23, was given a starting place for Saturday’s FA Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest, which along with a brief substitute appearance against Hull on New Year’s Day, is his only involvement in the first team since Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink took over as Rangers manager.
MK Dons boss Karl Robinson is therefore keen to snap him up, while reports in Luongo’s native Australia claim Middlesbrough and Glasgow Rangers are also interested.
