Another outing for QPR favourite Faurlin

Alejandro Faurlin, Adel Taarabt, Mauro Zarate and Leroy Fer featured for a QPR reserve side in a friendly against Barnet on Tuesday afternoon.

Zarate, who has resumed his loan spell after returning to West Ham for treatment on an injury, scored in an 8-0 win for Rangers at their Harlington training ground.

Junior Hoilett and Niko Kranjcar also scored, as did youngsters Reece Grego-Cox and Aaron Mitchell. The other goals were scored by trialists.

Popular midfielder Faurlin, sidelined last August by a third cruciate knee ligament injury in as many years, played 45 minutes having recently made his return to action in an Under-21 match.

Fer, meanwhile, is building up his fitness following a recent two-month spell out with a knee problem.

Mauicio Isla, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Yun Suk-Young and goalkeeper Alex McCarthy were also involved in the game.
