Redknapp braced for crucial QPR matches

Harry Redknapp has admitted that QPR’s next few matches could determine whether they stay in the Premier League this season.

They face Leicester at Loftus Road on Saturday and crucial home games against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace and Burnley during December.

“The next four or five games will probably have a big bearing on how our season goes,” said the Rangers boss.

Newcastle v QPR player ratings

“We play Leicester, Burnley and Palace – we’ve got games against teams who are going to be down there with us.

“They’re massive games really. They’re games we’ve got to get some points out of.

“That’s what determines your season, when you play the teams that are going to be down there with you.”

Rangers look likely to be without Sandro against Leicester as the Brazilian midfielder is again struggling with a knee problem.

Sandro was taken off during Saturday’s defeat at Newcastle and Redknapp admitted the injury “didn’t look good”.

  • Matty Phillips, Jordan Mutch, Niko Kranjcar, Vargas, Leroy Fer, Sandro are all 'Arry signings, why can't we get some creativity from this lot? Add in SWP, Taarabt, Yun, Hoillet, Traore, Barton and there is more than enough to make a good premiership midfield. One of the problems is that 'Arry was naive enough to think that Remy would stay when the whole of football knew he was off, so he let us go into the season with an unproven striker (Austin who is doing well) and an injury prone striker (Zamora who thankfully has been half fit). THis is just P155 poor management but it's too late to change, hopefully we will get 13 points from our next 7 games which is doable and then add slightly to the squad in January. We are one injury away from relegation..............not good!!!

  • Play players in right positions would help balance of team
4 central midfield players against Newcastle no wonder we didn't look creative enough
Come on Harry surely u must know by now that the best 11 individuals doesn't always make the best team
My opinion is I would love to see Vargas further up the pitch not in midfield
    What do u think?
