Geoff Cameron and Angel Rangel look increasingly likely to miss QPR’s game against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Neither player has been able to train since going off during Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Leeds.
Cameron had to be withdrawn at half-time at Elland Road, where Rangers ended the game with 10 men after Rangel went off in stoppage time with all three substitutions having been made.
On-loan Stoke midfielder Cameron suffered a nasty-looking ankle injury as a result of a crude challenge from Leeds’ Kalvin Phillips.
He looks certain to be unavailable for this weekend’s match at Loftus Road, while veteran defender Rangel has a muscle injury and is also struggling.
Their absence would be a blow for Rangers as both players have been influential for Steve McClaren’s side this season.
