Gary Karsa is poised to join QPR as head of academy recruitment.
Karsa lost his job as head of football operations at Aston Villa in May last year following a club investigation into allegations of bullying.
He worked at Leyton Orient and Barnet before joining Paul Lambert’s coaching team at Wycombe in 2006 along with ex-Norwich defender Ian Culverhouse.
The pair subsequently moved with Lambert to Colchester, Norwich and then Villa, who also dismissed Culverhouse following their investigation.
Karsa’s is one of a number of behind-the-scenes appointments QPR plan to make in the next few weeks.
