Chief executive Beard to leave Rangers

Chief executive Philip Beard is leaving QPR.

Beard was given the job at Loftus Road immediately after the Tony Fernandes-fronted takeover of 2011.

Rangers say Beard is leaving because the nature of the chief executive role has changed.
