Bristol City and Stoke want QPR striker Armstrong

Stoke and Bristol City want to sign Sinclair Armstrong from QPR.

Rangers recently took up an option to extent Armstrong’s contract for a year as his deal was due to expire this summer.

The 21-year-old striker has so far not signed a long-term contract, alerting a number of interested clubs to his potential availability.

Bristol City have made an approach for him and Stoke are expected to submit an offer.

Dubliner Armstrong joined QPR from Shamrock Rovers four years ago and has made 61 Championship appearances, mostly as a substitute, scoring three goals.
