Boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says James Perch will be involved in QPR’s FA Cup game at Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The right-back has missed the last three weeks with a knee problem but is now set to be in the squad at the City Ground.
Hasselbaink told Rangers’ official website: “Perch will be involved. He has had a good week of training, and it will be a decision for me now if I will put him in the side.
“For us, this is an opportunity to give other people a chance who haven’t had one yet.
“So we will try one or two different faces, but we will still be competitive.
“Also, we have a few knocks, so we will give them some more time to recover from those.”
One such player is striker Charlie Austin, who is recovering well after a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last four matches.
“Charlie is doing well and he is getting close now,” Hasselbaink said.
Midfielder Ben Gladwin is also set to feature against Forest after he was recalled from his loan at Swindon.
