Vargas’ season is ended by knee injury
Eduardo Vargas has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Chilean forward suffered a knee injury during QPR’s 4-1 win at West Brom on Saturday and a scan has revealed medial ligament damage, which will sideline him for at least two months.
Vargas, 25, scored the opening goal against Albion – his third goal for Rangers since joining them on a season-long loan from Napoli.
QPR duo Richard Dunne and Leroy Fer have been out with similar injuries but the club say both players could return for the London derby at home to West Ham on 25 April.
