Former Bolton defender Alex Finney featured for QPR’s development side again as they lost 2-1 at Charlton on Monday afternoon.
The 20-year-old, who played in a game against Millwall last week, has been without a club since his Bolton contract was cancelled by mutual consent in August.
He joined Wanderers from Leyton Orient in 2014 and made three first-team appearances, two of them coming in the league.
QPR had AJ Folkes sent off six minutes before half-time at The Valley, where Eberechi Eze scored their goal.
Eze equalised just before the half-hour mark after Brandon Hanlan had opened the scoring. Josh Parker scored a second-half winner for Charlton.
