It was another fruitless trip to the City Ground for QPR, who have never won there. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 4-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest.
Left totally exposed for all four goals. Prevented a fifth with a late save to deny Mustapha Carayol.
A strange performance from the usually reliable Baptiste, who was frequently dragged out of position, including in the build up to one of the goals. He was also beaten in the
A decent enough showing against his former club. Prevented a goal with a great block near the goal-line in the first half and won a number of other challenges.
Like Baptiste, has performed well recently but was well below par here. Gave the ball away in the build up to the opener, although he was unlucky that the ricochet led to a goal.
Replaced at half-time. Worked hard on the flank but was never really in the game. Sent an early shot well over.
Neat and tidy in midfield and was as hardworking as ever.
Started really well and battled throughout, but ran out of steam in the second half.
Took up some good positions and always looked to create, but like his team he never really got going.
Got forward well in the first half but was unusually defensively suspect at times. Could have offered Robinson much better cover when Tyler Walker drifted into wide areas. Was nowhere too for Forest’s fourth goal.
Delivered a good cross early in the second half for Jamie Mackie, who should have done better. Overall though Washington was poor – and wasted a decent opening on the counter attack when he gave the ball away in the first half.
Replaced at half-time after a pedestrian first 45 minutes. Offered very little. But he thrives on chances and there weren’t any.
Worked hard when he came on but, crucially, he missed a big chance when one came his way.
Also brought on at half-time. Won plenty of the ball in the air but was never a major threat.
