QPR were beaten despite a second-half fightback at Sheffield United. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 2-1 defeat.
Commanded his area well and produced a fine first-half save to deny John Lundstrum.
A solid performance on his return to the side. Caught out a couple of times but generally performed quite well.
A strong display, the highlight of which was a clearance off the line in the first half.
Competed well and played his part in a generally decent defensive performance, but the injured Jack Robinson was missed.
Gave everything he had on the right flank, but sometimes at the expense of some composure when it was needed. Not least when he squandered a potential chance following a quickly-taken free-kick by Luke Freeman.
Battled hard in midfield. Produced a fine challenge in the first half to thwart Billy Sharp.

Ineffective by his standards. Never seemed to really get going and was sloppy on the ball on occasions.
Scored with a cracking strike and always looked Rangers’ best attacking player. His set-pieces worried United and a corner almost led to a goal for Conor Washington.
Solid and hardworking on the left without ever really looking much of a threat.

Bright in spells and was unlucky not to equalise in the first half when his header was cleared off the line. However, overall he didn’t pose enough of a goal threat and Rangers lacked a cutting edge.
A presence in the air in both boxes but was easily contained – and missed a late chance with a header from Freeman’s free-kick.
Energetic after coming on midway through the second half. Definitely made a difference and arguably deserves to start on Saturday.
