QPR’s persistence paid off as they rescued a point against Rotherham. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 2-2 draw.
Stayed calm and dealt well with the wet conditions. Could do nothing about Rotherham’s goals.
An uncharacteristic error led to the opening goal. His failure to cut out a diagonal ball was a surprise given his excellent recent performances. Did well in the second half, though, showing his usual defensive nous and also his tenacity going forward.
Not one of his best games. Won plenty of challenges but was dragged out of position on occasions.
Not a good performance at the heart of the Rangers defence, especially in the first half. Looked unconvincing when put under pressure by Rotherham’s attack.
Worked hard up and down the left flank and set up Luke Freeman’s late equaliser with a perfect cross.
Taken off immediately after missing a sitter when he failed to connect from six yards out after being set up by Freeman. Did little of note up to that point.
Not a great first half, but better in the second. Gradually began to control things in midfield after Rotherham had enjoyed plenty of early success.
Looked tired. Had a decent second-half spell after a below-par first 45 minutes but then faded before going off with 14 minutes to go.
Always looked a likely source of a goal. His passing and set-piece delivery worried Rotherham and a good save denied him an equaliser before he eventually got the goal he deserved with a diving header to score from Bidwell’s cross.
QPR boss Steve McClaren on Freeman: “He can score goals, he can assist, but his enthusiasm is infectious. He is one of our most important players.”
Showed bravery as well as quality by constantly looking to create despite being the victim of some crunching challenges. Is a marked man these days but is coping well and remains a threat whenever he has the ball at his feet. Would have scored with a cracking volley but for a fine save.
Took his goal well, capitalising on a defensive error to score from close range. Might have scored at least one more but can be well pleased with his display. He was lively, hardworking and created space for others with his intelligent running.
Did well after coming on for Wszolek midway through the second half. Gave Rangers a much-needed additional presence up front as they pressed for an equaliser.
Caused Rotherham problems in the air after coming on.
Missed a good chance before Rangers eventually got the equaliser they more than deserved.

I agree with comments concerning yellow cards bu SM - we commit a foul and get a yellow, other sides commit fouls but we only get a free kick. How about including the ref in these ratings - should make interesting reading
