QPR came from behind to secure their first home league win under Mark Warburton. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in the 3-1 victory over Wigan.
A spectator for large parts of the game as Rangers dominated.
Surprisingly restored at the expense of the more dynamic Todd Kane. The veteran was solid throughout.
Composed at the back and used the ball well.
Better on the left of a back three after Toni Leistner was brought on to shore things up at half-time.#
Involved in much of Rangers’ best attacking work. Linked up nicely with Marc Pugh and supplied the cross which led to the equaliser.
A decent performance in midfield and reacted to Manning’s ball into the box to lay on the first QPR goal for Nahki Wells.
Withdrawn at the interval after an iffy first-half performance. His ball retention often isn’t good enough for the style of play boss Warburton wants.
One of the exciting forward’s better days. He saw plenty of the ball in the first half, going close with one effort and setting up Wells, who fired into the side netting. Scored with a precise free-kick and always looked a threat.
A joy to watch. Skilful, full of enthusiasm and his movement off the ball is often terrific. Worthy of his place.
Along with Wells, Pugh added experience to Rangers’ youthful attack. He craftily picked up space again and again and was involved in some slick link-up play.
A fine performance – and an encouraging start to his second loan spell. Always lively, he hauled Rangers level before presenting Jordan Hugill with what should have been a tap in.
A commanding-looking presence at the heart of the defence when brought on, albeit against a team which faded as the game progressed.
Guilty of an astonishing miss when he somehow lifted the ball over from a couple of yards out, but showed composure to then tuck away the third Rangers goal.
More than decent after replacing Ball for the final 20 minutes.
