Mark Warburton insists QPR would not even consider selling Seny Dieng for £6m.
The Rangers manager last season dismissed reports linking the goalkeeper with potential £6m move to West Ham.
And Warburton has reacted similarly to recent reports touting Dieng with move to Sheffield United for the same price.
It was claimed that the Yorkshire club had lined up Dieng, 26, as a replacement for Aaron Ramsdale, who had been tipped to join Arsenal.
Warburton said: “No one here is going cheap. I read about a price tag on Seny. Ludicrous.
“The fans need not worry. The owners will put the right price on the players.
“Every player in the world has got a value. If anyone leaves QPR it will be on the owners’ terms.
“If they leave it doesn’t matter, because they’ll leave at a price that represents great value for QPR.”
Dieng’s performances last season led to him being linked with a number of Premier League sides.
Having leapfrogged Joe Lumley and Liam Kelly, who have both since left the club, the Swiss firmly established himself as Rangers’ first-choice keeper.
Speaking in April after Dieng was linked with West Ham, Warburton said: “Where does this come from? Where do these figures come from?
“The validity of that source is questionable at best, I think. Put it that way.
“And the bigger picture; if any player leaves it will be for QPR’s valuation. Everyone’s got a price. The best player in the world has a price if you’re prepared to pay it.
“If any player leaves QPR it will be if the board deem it to be good value for the club.”
