QPR made it 10 points from four games by beating Millwall at Loftus Road. Here’s how we rated each Rangers player in their 2-0 victory.
Quiet first period for the keeper, with a couple of routine catches. Palmed away a thunderous volley from Steve Morison in the second half before he claimed a loose ball which struck the crossbar from Shaun Williams’ header. He’ll be delighted with a clean sheet.
Looked to get forward and was at ease defensively in the first 45 minutes. A pretty similar story in the second half, but his experience was there to deal with Millwall’s improved showing.
Won’t have an easier first half. Tested a lot more in the second 45 initially, but Millwall ran out of ideas and he’ll be really happy with his night’s work.
Hardly tested by Millwall’s frontline in the opening period. Had a bit more to do as the game went on, but he was still relatively comfortable. A good understanding at the back with Lynch.
Comfortable on the left and was never in any danger. Nearly made it three with a strike towards the near post only for Ben Amos to save with his feet.
Slightly anonymous first half but used his experience to steer his side over the line in certain situations. Could have maybe got into the game a bit more but he’ll be satisfied with his work.
Did his job well and showed good energy in front of the back four. Had a goal-bound follow-up was blocked after Amos had saved to deny Massimo Luongo.
Grabbed the opener just shy of the half-hour, getting up to nod Rangers in front. Perhaps couldn’t get forward or into goal-scoring positions as the game went on, but he did so on one occasion when he saw his shot saved by Amos after Ebere Eze’s clever pass.
Looked to find space and his movement was good. Had a couple of bursts through the middle trying to find that killer pass. Taken off with 10 minutes to go.
Lively early on and sent in a fizzing delivery which was waiting to be tucked home. But he got on the scoresheet soon after Luongo to double Rangers’ lead. Came alive again with 12 minutes remaining, playing a lovely ball into Luongo’s feet inside the box. Now a real crowd favourite.
Couple of free-kicks over the bar and an effort well saved in the opening half hour, and then played a big part in the opening goal. A lot quieter in the second period and was substituted for Tomer Hemed.
On for Wells just after the midway point of the second half. A free-kick from 25 yards was well saved by Amos, getting across to his left.
