QPR looking to complete Santos signing

QPR are expected to complete the signing of Hevertton Santos.

West London Sport revealed in April that the 23-year-old Brazilian was among the right-backs on Rangers’ radar for this summer.

Santos’ contract at Portuguese club Estrela is about to expire.


QPR are also keen on Bayern Munich’s Scotland Under-21 centre-back Liam Morrison.

Morrison, 21, joined the German giants from Celtic as a 16-year-old. He spent last season on loan at Wigan.

Meanwhile, Watford are interested in R’s left-back Kenneth Paal.

And the future of the out-of-contract Chris Willock is expected to be resolved shortly.

Talks have taken place about a two-year deal with a release clause which would enable Willock to move – and Rangers to receive a transfer fee – were he to attract offers.

Willock, who has struggled for fitness during the past couple of seasons, has been keeping his options open amid potential interest from a number of clubs.

QPR’s squad will travel to Spain on Monday for a 12-day pre-season trip to Girona.
